CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is the non-intoxicating component naturally derived from the hemp plant. It’s extraction and infusion into other natural products has the ability to enhance normal functions of everyday living. 

We use third-party lab-tested industrial hemp for our tea. Our products are classified as full spectrum which includes a range of cannabinoids and original plant terpenes.

Our tea is crafted with fine herbs and quality ingredients to offer rich and enjoyable flavor profiles. While each consumer’s palette has a different level of sophistication, most of our customers say they can’t tell CBD is in their tea and enjoy each blend. You can try some for yourself here.

Each tea has a unique herbal blend offering a variety of benefits, but the CBD effects are the same no matter the flavor. 

Absolutely. Each bag can be enjoyed for up to two uses in 8-12 oz. of water. We recommend steeping for 3-5 minutes. Feel free to increase steeping time as desired. For those who like to keep it simple, steep a bag all at once and portion servings to your preference. 

According to traditional tea etiquette, 6 oz. is a serving, which gives our bag about 2.5 servings. We say, "get it how you live it," and drink as you please.  

To achieve the most effective brew, we recommend pouring boiling water from a pot or tea kettle over your tea bag and steep with a lid for 3-5 minutes. We caution against microwaving to preserve your tea bag and its ingredients. Shop our mug to achieve a perfect 15 oz. brew.

Great question but there’s no straight answer to that. Each consumer is different - not only in intention and purpose but in the way we consume tea. Nonetheless, our products contain an organic coconut, tapioca, and yuca root mix to enhance the use of BLK Sapote and your overall tea experience.

Yes. The passage of the 2018 Farm Bill removed all ingredients and derivatives of industrial hemp from the DEA’s list of Schedule I drugs given the THC content is less than 0.3% as measured by an accredited laboratory. What that means is, for CBD to be legal, it must be sourced from industrial hemp, as defined by the 2014 and 2018 US Farm Bills - that is exactly what we use - industrial hemp and hemp-derived CBD. 

The FDA is responsible for regulating CBD in food and drugs. While they have provided no specific guidelines for CBD compliance regarding this, we are diligent in ensuring we abide by the regulations in place on our end so that you can simply enjoy BLK Sapōtē on yours.
